BCLS... its really hard..

i did the full one man CPR today..
5 cycles.. omg.. tough..
my hand pain lor..
i did 5 cycles within 2:45mins..
which is too slow.. omg..
sec try i did it @ 2:40mins..
what the hell.

made lots of mistakes..
lost count in compressions,
ventilation not good..
omg.. next mon is prac test liao

i did the infant CPR too..
wah.. more tough..
my middle and fourth finger not enough strength to pump..
pump until cramp..
150times leh within 2 mins OMG..


gonna try again tmr.. X)
it's nurses day tmr!

Now im sitting @ my school's foyer using a funky pink sony vaio laptop blogging ahaha

waiting for kaili to go library and study X)

gonna cut my hair later again..

in church! wah..



will be meeting may at 6:30pm so have to make full use of my time from now till 6

that will be 2 hrs..



ytd i had many 2 hrs to slack away.. ahaha but i didnt make full use of it..

ahaha.. used it to slack at ah ma hse.. SUPER BORING lah.

I had my BCLS (basic cardiac life support) in layman terms its CPR lesson
wahhaha so cool. but the practical is super strict and within 2 mins we need to do 5 cycles of CPR. damn chuan.. theory test coming fri.. need to pass 80% wahh.....ahhhh
pract test next week.. consist of
one man cpr, 2 men cpr, adult choking, infant choking, infant cpr
all within 20 mins.. WAH.. will be damn chuan.. need to eat more beef now ahahha

but its really cool X)
i can save lives outside wahahah..legally

Exams are really round the corner.. gosh.. not prepared yet..

my com just went bonkers..
i can't do my assignment now..
it keeps on hanging and lagging..

yesterday i did my presentation 3 times..
cuz it hanged while im doing it..
i did it all the way till 1 plus going 2..
SUCKSS ARRHH!!

i got 2 assignments to be handed up next week..
and my com is not doing me a favor..
my dad too.. he don't want to help me X(
guess i have to stay in school on mon and tues to finish up my assigments

plus NSL theory test.
okay lah.. not too bad..
i think can pass.. borderline maybe..


CF today was enriching...
we had bible study..
topic was QT.

from that day i shared with my CG that i didnt do my qt...
enli and juin prompt me each day to do my qt..
i did.. i really did.. but its still empty..
i just literally read it as though im reading a little article from the forum section of the newspaper.

but today i realised that i DID my QT most of the time..
just that i didnt read it from a text..
i did it with music... with songs..

u may say NO.. ITS DIFFERENT!
u have to read the bible..
well.. i read the bible through songs.. ahaha

QT is interaction with God.. not reading and expect something.
interaction and bonding with Him.. strengthen the relationship with Him.


and He's waiting for me to come before Him!

i had a NORMAL sunday...

meaning..
no ava duty.. no backup singing..
no meeting after service..

that's wad i call a normal sunday
its good ahaha..

i had a fun-filled day today!

started off @ 7am...sending bro to army camp..
then later dad fetch me to church..
reach ard 8am.. wahah..
then started some prep work for the amazing food race event.

some clashes here and there..
plus some pouring while im doing my prep work
really made me panic! haha

moreover we're (organizers) late!!


the game was not too bad i suppose...
really hope that each and everyone of them enjoyed the game X)

after the game we had dinner @ chomp chomp..
it was quite fun.. haha
fellowshipping and eating dinner together

after dinner yongcai,peisze,shuhui,xihao,ziyang,me,vivian,william,vina and ah bong went KTV..
it was really cheap..compare to Kbox.
they're super funny.. had lots of fun..

but im sure that enli and the rest (who didnt went ktv) sure had their fun eating DURIANS..

talking about durians.. i HATE THE SMELL..
since.. there's a man brought durian onto the bus..
there's some relatives of a pt brought durian into the ward.

URGH. hahaha
but still
i LURVE TO EAT DURIAN!

thanks my 7 meiren plus one!
i enjoyed the whole session despite of my BLOATEDNESS.. wahaha

oh.. and while waiting for the BUS that will nv come.. cuz the least bus left already,

aisha and khai taught us how to make sandwich ( hehe we ate sandwich yums)

ytd we continued our microteaching again
this time its cherie, jielin, wawa and ying lum's turn
cherie taught us how to put make up...
yinglum taught us her way of eating icecream (yes we ate icecream tooo)

last sat, 1735 watched shawshank.. and the message is about hope..
then during the sharing i told my grp people that i dun really need hope.. cuz i didnt encounter BIG "ISSUES" in my life tat i will feel hopelessness...

but then today i realised i was wrong..
last fri... i saw my dad and mum cleaning up the whole house... so neat..
and i knew something wasn't right.

later at night she told me "girl ah, pack ur room hor.. make sure its clean.."
i asked why?
then she said "got people want to rent the house."

i was not really shocked... cuz we got some financial problems..
instead i was quite happy..
finally we can rent the house out and stay at some smaller unit which is much cozier..

i really dun like my house..the stairs is like a barrier between me and my parents..
we call each other, shouting from above and below.
my home is always empty.
really don't like going home in the afternoon.. cuz its only me and the house.

so.. on my way to school.. i kept thinking about the house.. hope that the person wants to rent it.
and i prayed that God will allow this to happen cuz it will help us financially.

there was HOPE.
but when im on my way to meet may, i called my dad.. and asked him about the house..
he said " the person didnt turn up"

at that pt of time.. still not shocked but felt abit disappointed..
y God give us hope and take it away?

then images flooded my mind..
im poor yet rich!
richly blessed.

i got my aunt who gave me lots of branded stuffs..
i got my family who love me to bits

most importantly i got a verse that keeps me going

His grace is sufficient for me.


He will help us through, be it the toughest way
i'm thankful that i get the chance to go through this kind of life..
being poor... yet rich.
i'm gonna hold onto hope and live with it.
so i can get freedom within.

AMEN?

im going back to school next week!

some reflections i have for this attachment..
i learnt to communicate more with patients.
getting to know more about them..
hearing their woes, joking around with them.. making them happy...

this time round... i had more pts with cancer.. and they came in for chemo...

its really heart breaking to see them... its not one or two..
its 7-8 pts came in for chemo... some looked fragile.. some vomit alot..

but glad thing is.. all of them.. or rather most of them are very positive with this disease.
one pt said that she's not afraid.. they come, she'll fight.


at a point of time.. i really felt like crying.. seeing them go through so much.. well.. my ward not only cancer pt.. there still other types... those women problems..

i was so afraid that one day i'll be like them!
y women need to suffer so much?

Now im attached to KK's Gynae ward...
its MUCH MUCH better than in Obs..
the patients there are MUCH MUCH friendly-er..
the staff there oso very friendly

today there's a med student CHATTED with me.
she's super friendly and pretty...
she's the FIRST med student yr 4 who CHAT with me.

others just ask for this that...

she's gonna be a VERY NICE doctor.
till now i still think that female doctors are more friendlier than male doctors.
her friend beside her just proved im right lor.. while this med student talking to me.. beside her was another med student.. a male one.. look pek chek lor. eeyer.

nway.. i like the people there
i like C- class patients.. less demanding and friendlier...

LISTEN...
as i've just shared earlier on in my blog...

i dunno if i should take up that sponsership...
i've prayed...
and i did my upper room ling xiu...
the topic was LISTENING TO GOD.
it teaches me how to LISTEN.

i told God...
Father i'll go ahead and apply the bond..
if u want me to get it.. let me get it..
if u don't want then let the hospital reject me.

i tot it was so simple.. just apply.. if God allows, He'll allow!


but today's sermon woke me up.
im WRONG...
if i just listen... and obey... literally..
without hearing wad my heart have to say... its NOT a calling... nor is it something that God wants me to do..

today's sermon taught me how to LISTEN..
with MY HEART..

sometimes... my thinking about God calling comes from the BRAIN..mentally..
but today.. im reminded that it comes from the HEART.

i've got to search... know how firm my foundation is.. before i really take on God's calling..

that God spoke to me.. thru Zeng Nan Laoshi's sermon today.
