Musical prac today was quite terrible...

played mahjong after enli and may left
haha didn't managed to complete one round..
cuz von and i had to go home..
it's already 9 plus that time..
and we've played for about 2 hours..

about 2 hours we haven finish one round lor
i wonder those play 24 rounds one... how long they take =S

tmr will be the last day of the year

went shopping with vivian and von today ahha
despite me being sick

time really files..
very soon i'll go through my PRCP
and i'll gradually go to church on and off..
not as active like this year..

felt sad when i realised that time files so fast.
Gabrielle who always never fail to attend sunday service unless something crop up
is going to miss sundays in few months time..

i played hide and seek with ah ma today
she called and wants me to go and eat lunch
but i don't want
bro answered the call..
so i asked him to tell ah ma i went off already..

after that..
about 1/2 hr later or so..
ah ma came to my house
i was using the com then..
i went to hide in my dad's toilet

ah ma came..
saw my laptop on
so she asked my bro where am i
bro said went out
dunno go where.

ah ma started spot checking!
scary!!
she went to my dad's toilet
to give a glance. lucky she didn't step in..
otherwise im DEAD.

she even opens my wardrobe to check..
phew.. i wanted to hide inside at first haha..

after that i whisper to my bro and ask if ah ma went off?
he said yes..
so i walked out..
then..
i saw ah ma at the balcony!

good thing i caught her first..
so i went to hide again..

vianx was waiting for me in church..
so i tried to sneak out with ah ma in my house
tough but i suceeded!


quite fun sia..

went church just now to prac for singspiration on the 24th
but may woke up late..
so was cancelled.

i remembered i posted and complained to God
y isn't He showing the way He want us to go..
my parents were so burdened with the debts
everytime there's people wanting to rent the house
but they request alot of things..
like that my parents have to buy more stuffs or repair aircon for the house
which needs a sum of money.

but this time..
the person who rented
just wants a washing machine
and dining table


amazing isn't it?
God prepared a way that is even better

at times we'll become impatient
and we'll grumble.. we'll feel disappointed
but God's love conquers all...
He didn't forsake us
or just give us a tenant to rent the house
He still guide us through
and give us the best.

now my parent's burden had ease a lil..

at least now they can ease a lil burden...

cuz the contract in simlim square is ending soon
and they dun want to continue selling computers..
i only noe their plan now is to do car servicing..

i have a very devoted catholic family whose mother was warded in my ward
and i overheard their conversation
and the daughter told the mother(the pt)
"Don't listen to what other people say, listen to Jesus only. He's the only one who can heal u...
don't listen to the doctors.. they only can give u medicine....."

my expression....

but they are very devoted.. they always pray when they come...
and they always say "Praise the Lord!"
i can't differentiate them with christians..except the cross that was hanged on the patient's monkey bar... oh wells..

2nd day of attachment..
did pm shift..
was a lil busy with basic care etc..
next week then can serve medications >.<

yesterday when i went home..
ah ma kept ask me about my attachment..
did i help patient clean butts, got talk to them or not..
ahhaa.. she more excited then me sia.
so far my patients all quite cute and nice =)
gonna see them tmr morning!

can't wait for 20th!
no work! can finally rest at home..
i haven't been resting for 2 weeks.
super tired..........

First day of attachment in SGH today.
felt REALLY LOST.
their protocol is SO SO different =S

finally im back to the busy ward =)
last sem attachment was SUPER SLACK.

Orthopedics is really not my type

today i cleaned up 2 patients
one on diaper which is SOAKED FOR DUNNO HOW MANY HOURS and stinks madly
the diapers was so full that the bedsheet was soaked with urine too.
so shuting and i took about 45mins to clean her up cuz she's on traction and she can't really move..

then next was a pt on diaper FLOODED WITH BLACK LOOSE STOOLS that leaks out and dirty the whole bed sheet and the pt had spinal injury.. and he can't really move alot too..
we spent about 1.5hrs trying to clean him up.

today is only day 1... 7 more days to go =S

went cf mtg right after attachment.
super tired now..
and hungry...

i won't dwell on the fact that aunty yue er has left us,
because i know that i'll see her again when we gather in God's kingdom.

two thing i've learnt from yue er aunty..

1st, we can't force people or keep telling people how great is our God.
we have to be a living testimony... showing love and care.. putting in efforts.
then people will see how loving our God is.

2nd, do not fear death, but fear God.

i've shared during alpha camp and DG that i don't want to fall sick at a young age like 30++
then few days ago.. i prayed and told God.. please do not let anything happen to be before i complete my bond..
till today, i realised that i fear death more than i fear God.
i really thank God
that He showed me how ALMIGHTY He is..
He gives and takes away.


i remembered wenya told me tat
she don't see christians being the way they should be.
im glad that God put me into evangelical ministry
that i can learn to evangelise

i want to learn to be like yue er aunty.
to really be a living testimony
and let people see Jesus in me,
communicate with love and grace.
it's going to be tough
but im willing to try

im felt the urgency to really spread the gosepl to people

wenya turned up for alpha night
and i really thank God for that =)
after that i spent a short time with her
and shared to her the WYS booklet.
I really thank God for giving me the courage to share it with her
although she didn't receive christ,
but i'll keep her in prayer that God will use his way to touch her heart.


Life on earth is really unpredictable.
people can leave suddenly...
i went to aunty yue er's wake after the concert
saw her lying in the coffin peacefully without pain,
flashbacks of her calling my name "jia min"
talking to me.. encourage me to work hard and be a good nurse.
seeing her smiling, seeing her loving our Lord so much that she always lift up her hands to worship Him, seeing her being a good host towards the new people...

Alpha Camp is over!

i will learn something that impacts my life alot.

this year,
i realised that any a time,
i take things for granted..
and always neglect things that i thought it's not important.

so i got a haircut today!

after we got everything..
we went cineleisure to walk walk
oh i managed to eat black sesame icecream again
but i think pepper lunch one nicer X)

if u ask me.. do i want to be first aider for the marathon,
i will say NO.

gosh! it's quite crazy.
the way they organize was so so terrible..
i was first posted to kallang.. then later they change to ECP
then at ECP they drop us off at the wrong area.
some routes at ECP got no first aid at all..
some are so close to each other..
haiz.
my team(of 4) was posted at ECP 19km -THANK God-
we waited for only about 6-7 hours at our area.
BUT, 4 people to 1 first aid box.. gosh it's crazy.
and we have to spread out quite far..
i was running up and down cuz im the one holding the box...
and the supplies in the box SUCKS!
11 plasters for 12,ooo people running past me!?!
1 small bottle of rub-on oil for 12,000 people running past me?!?
it really just sucks.
even the medical post personnel they SUCKS!
heard from ShuTing that she called the emergency no.
cuz got one lady got chest pain..
then the medic from the medical post stroll his way there..
asking Shu Ting is the lady dead??
SO TERRIBLE LAH!



but at least i got a nice experience of seeing people running for charity
strangers encouraging strangers to run
team work..
not easy lorrs.

today's 1735 THE RUN III @ Terminal 3 was FUN!!
